So, this could be found on Heatworlds site today. It all happens tomorrow at 5.30pm norwegian time I think! (4.30pm english time). Make sure you see it!
We literally can't think of anything much more impressive than having your very own song played in actual space, but that's exactly what the lovely McFly boys have managed to do – with a little help from their fans. What started as one little Tweet on Twitter generated enough demand for NASA to take notice, and tomorrow morning (11.30am EDT) McFly's hit Star Girl will be played on the international space station currently orbiting the earth. Amazing, no?! Tom Fletcher from McFly is a huge fan of all-things intergalatic, so he especially is thrilled, calling it "stellar news". Very clever Tom, very clever. The song will be played to the astronauts aboard the space station and is all part of a NASA "Tweetup", where 35 people will get to talk to the astronauts via Twitter. NASA TV and website will be giving live coverage of the event including showing the full-length video of McFly’s Star Girl. We're so thrilled for them! In fact, you could say it's out of this world... To find out more, go to NASA at www.nasa.gov/home/
PS. We've just noticed that Danny is floating in this picture! Brilliant!
