McFlySpain announced on twitter that it's confirmed that McFly are coming to Spain december 2nd, but they don't know if it is for a gig or what they're gonna do there yet. Here's what they wrote on their site. Once again, this is translated online (by Kel/Fizz Rocks), so take precautions:

Well yes, the news is from Mike Allen, their manager, like EMI Spain, the record company that carries out promotion of McFly in our country, they have confirmed that McFLY are to visit us again on 2nd December, more specifically to Madrid. It is not yet mentioned on McFlys' myspace though.

Nevertheless, this info even is NOT 100% confirmed so we will wait for that Mike and EMI to give us all details as they are confirmed. So keep checking in for more news as we receieve it.

But as Tom himself tweeted

@tommcfly Did 2 phone interviews for Spanish magazines today. Hopefully well be back out to Europe soon.

Harry helps Martha launch fayre

We all knew Harry was a sweetheart, but reading articles like this, just makes us all go 'Aaaw'!

IT'S not everyday that a pop star launches a small Christmas fayre, but that's what happened in one Suffolk village.

Harry Judd, the drummer in chart topping pop band McFly, joined seven-year-old Martha Evans to help launch the Kersey Christmas Fayre.

Martha, who used to live in Kersey and is currently battling leukaemia, was thrilled that the McFly star was there to help kick start the celebrations.

Pop star Harry said: “I am delighted to help support the Kersey Christmas Fayre.

“Having seen the work of the Trust at first hand, I know that it has an incredibly positive impact on the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer.”

Martha, who attends Hintlesham and Chattisham school, was diagnosed with leukaemia just before she turned three-years-old and after having three years of treatment is now in remission.

Angela Evans, Martha's mother, said: “She was so excited because she didn't know that Harry was coming.

“Since completing her treatment Martha is now able to enjoy life and school and everything that a seven-year-old is meant to enjoy.

“She was very brave and she never complained during her treatment. She felt secure having her family around her.”

The annual fayre will give visitors the opportunity to find high quality and unusual gifts for Christmas and to sample delicious festive foods.

At the request of Martha's parents proceeds will be donated to St Mary's Church in Kersey and the Teenage Cancer Trust, who aim to improve the lives of young adults with cancer.

Kersey Christmas Fayre will take place on November 28 from 10.30am - 4pm at St Mary's Church in Kersey.

There will be a Preview Night on November 27 where visitors can shop while listening to carol singers.

For more information on the Teenage Cancer Trust visit http://www.teenagecancertrust.org/

Another movie with the boys?

There are some rumours that McFly have another movie project, but nothing is confirmed and it seems like all we know is still a bit in the greyzone. The original was written on spanish, so Kel (Fizz Rocks) got it all translated online. Therefore it's not accurate, but we all get an idea of what it's all about. Here's what we know:

November 24, McFly publishes Radio Activate, a CD + DVD with its last album and an engraved concert in the stadium of Wembley.

Seven singles in the nº1 in United Kingdom, Better International Group in the Brit Awards, 100 million people visiting its official web, 11 million reproductions in MySpace, almost 2.5 million disks sold through a newspaper... The Beatles? Not, it is McFly, the explosive British band that has snatched to the quartet of Liverpool the historic record to be the youngest group in debuting in the nº1 in its country.

November 24, McFly publishes in Spain Radio Activate, a CD + DVD that contains the album of the same title, the last one published by the band, and a spectacular engraved concert in the stadium of Wembley (London) with all the successes, and are many, of the quartet Londoner.

The album has been launched in UK with the periodic one Mail On Sunday selling more than 2.4 million copies and 3 singles of great success have been launched (One For The Radio, Bundle and Gave Already).

It was during this tour, in the concert celebrated in the mythical setting of Wembley, where was recorded in direct the DVD that is included in this edition next to the CD. It filmed by the director Paul Caslin (nominated to the Grammy 2008 by its long-term video of Rihanna), the DVD was nº1 in the British lists and contains 17 songs that travel through the successful life of the band. There they are in direct themes as One For The Radio, Everybody Knows, Going Through The Motions, Obviously, Transylvania, Corrupted, P.O.V., Falling In Love, Star Girl, That Girl, Gave Already, Black or White, Room on the 3rd Floor, All About You, The Last Song, Bundle, 5 Colours in her Hair...

This CD + DVD is a stupendous one I review for the brilliant career of McFly and an excellent reflection of its powerful music and its energetic one put in scene, something that has characterized to the band since its creation. Tom Fletcher (voice, guitar), Danny Jones (voice, guitar), Dougie Poynter (voice, low) and Harry Judd (battery), these two last recruited through an announcement in the magazine NME, they are McFly, the band of rock pop music formed in London in 2004 with the name adopted of Marty McFly, the personage of Return to the future, their favorite movie starred in by Michael J. Fox.

Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry patrolled the 20 years when its first album (Room on the 3rd Floor, 2004), was nº1 in United Kingdom and double Disk of Platinum. With the second (Wonderland, 2005) the band repeated nº1 in its country and was nº9 in the United States. Later they arrived Motion in the Ocean in 2006, the large successes All the Greatest Hits in 2007 and Radio Activate in 2008. By the end of 2008, McFly had situated seven singles in the nº1 of the British lists and 15 among the ten first.

In these five years of career, McFly has earned plenty of prizes: nine Smash Hits, a Brit, an UK Festival, two Virgin, three Nickelodeon... Its singles nº1 have been seven: 5 Colours in Her Hair, Obviously, All About You, I' ll Be Ok, Gift' t stop Sign Me Now, Star Girl and Baby' s Coming Back. The three DVD that has published the band also they have been nº1: The Wondeland Tour 2005, All The Greatest Hits and Radio Activate. Two of their albums (Room on the 3rd Floor and Wonderland), also they have been nº1. And as if that were not enough, McFly has engraved this year the main theme of the movie Dragon Ball, in 2008 composed the beneficial official single Children In Need, the chain Fox projects for 2010 a movie with the band as the protagonist...

It is McFly, a band that inherits the best of the tradition of the British pop music, that prompts it with energy toward the future and that has broken the borders from its country upon succeeding also in the United States, Brazil, Argentina... November 24, McFly publishes in Spain the CD + DVD Radio Activate. For lose it to him not.
I'm not sure what's going on, are they gonna be in the film? Are they making the film? But what I think is most possible, is that maybe they're making the soundtracks to this film and that these songs also are in the cathegory 'science fiction' and so on.. But still, this is just a rumour, we don't know anything for sure. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

McFly Unofficial Calendar 2010

As we've told you before, there's not gonna be an official McFly Calendar for 2010 like it usually is every year, even Tom's mother have confirmed this on her twitter page. BUT we have found an unofficial calendar for 2010, who looks rather smashing if I may say so myself. It's a good choice at least seeing as there's not gonna be a "real" one. It contains some really awesome pics, not very new ones, but not very old as they usually have either. Check it out!

Bolton News

Nasa grants McFly fans' wish to have 'Star Girl' track played in space

FANS of pop group McFly always thought they were out of this world — and now they have been proven right.

For their hit single Star Girl has been played to astronauts orbiting Earth after a campaign by their fans.

NASA’s page on website Twitter was bombarded with requests to play the song to crew members on the international space station.

The space agency had offered 35 people the chance to talk live to the astronauts, but fans wanted the song played instead.

A 30-second clip of the 2006 song was played to the crew on Wednesday, with the full video shown on NASA TV and website.

Band member Danny Jones, who comes from Bromley Cross, described it as a “dream come true”.

In a message to NASA on Twitter, he wrote: “Thank you for playing our song in space it’s definitely one if the coolest things that’s happened since being in the band...Amazing!”

Deputy headteacher, Andrea O’Callaghan at Thornleigh Salesian College, where Danny used to be a pupil said: “We are really proud of Danny and everything that he has achieved. We never imagined that his music would be played in space.

“We always knew that he would go far, but perhaps not that far.”

Star Girl celebration

It's exactly three years since Star Girl first was released today! It was the second single released from Motion In The Ocean (MITO) to promote the new album.

The song was the band's sixth number 1 single in the UK, staying in the Top Ten for two weeks. "Star Girl" was written by McFly and Jason Perry, Julian Emery and Carter.

The song was inspired by a dream Tom Fletcher had, about falling in love with an alien woman. It was originally called 'Good Night', but the band felt the lyrics didn't fit. Tom had a dream about writing a massive, Westlife style song written about falling in love with an alien women so he decided to replace the 'Good Night' lyrics with the new lyrics hoping it would be a bigger success than the song he wrote in his dream.

Demi talks about McFly in Capricho

Demi is in the new issue of Capricho and she talks about McFLY in general and Tom as a twitterer in there. Here is a clip from the magazine where she mentions them:

Danny secretly dating after all?

It seems Danny is dating someone after all! Earlier today Jason Perry (producer slash best mate red.) asked Danny on twitter if he would join him to the Lost Phrophets and Blackout concert this evening, and to give him a ring. Then - after the gig, Flecking Records let McFly Mission know that they spotted Danny at the gig where they also went to, with an unknown blonde beauty! Was it Pixie? Laura? Even Olivia? Probably not, hence the 'unknown' in the description. We are very curious to know who this mysterious girl is, but we're guessing that she'll be a pretty, hot babe with long blonde locks because that's the type he normally would go for. Once we know more, we'll let you know immediatly! Oh, and Flecking also commented on Danny's new Aston Martin! We're very keen to see some pictures of Mr Jones in his new baby aswell! Hurry up with the snapshots please!

Therefore I'll just link you guys to the rest of them here, and only post more about those two if there are some HUGE news involving those two together. It'll take up so much more space than it already does, if I'm gonna put up every single one.

Pixie Lott gets a Lotta love in Manchester

THERE was a whole lotta love for pop star Pixie Lot t when she headed to Manchester at the weekend.

Almost 2,000 people turned out just to see the 18-year-old blonde chart-topper and her fellow pop stars N-Dubz even though they weren't going to be singing for fans.

The music-makers were instead introducting unique "hologram gigs" of themselves to celebrate the launch of a new tariff from phone company Orange.

Fans got themselves into a right old frenzy as they clamoured to get an autograph from Mama Do star Pixie.

But, alas, there was no sign of Pixie's rumoured new love interest at the event - Bolton's own McFly heart-throb Danny Jones.

Dougie and Harry interview

Another new short, but cute and funny, interview with Dougie and Harry on love and romance. Made me giggle. Check it out!

The 20 worst bands of the 2000's

Luckily, this isn't all about McFly, although McFly was mentioned in it.. Busted was listed on this awful list, and this is what it said about our boys: "....Worse, the band members went on to respectively spawn the equally turgid McFly, Son of Dork and Fightstar." So its not very positive, but then again.. There's probably some old blokes who wrote this list, who are too afraid to admit that both McFly and Fightstar are great bands. That's my point of view tho, and of course not everyone have the same taste in music, and I totally respect that.

Celebrity Lookalikes (Tom vs. Tom)

We found this on Heatworld's site, and we have to admit, we've even thought about that before. There are some similarities for sure! Although, we dont think they look so much alike on these two pics..

Here at heatworld, we spend quite a big chunk of our week giggling at all the celebrity lookalikes sent in by our dear readers, but it's not very often that a celebrity themselves points out how much they look like someone else. Tom Fletcher from McFly looks so much like Harry Potter star Tom Felton (he does, look at them! They could so easily be brothers!) that he even sent the actor a message about it on Twitter. Tom wrote to Tom (this could get confusing), "Hey, if you stick your chin out and I bleach my hair we could switch jobs for a day. I'm sure no one would notice." Bless. For the record, Tom (Fletcher), we happen to think your chin is lovely just the way it is. Your whole face is lovely – so there! After hearing all this, we're going to be watching Draco Malfoy very closely in the next Harry Potter film. Just in case...

Vote for Dougie!

McFly are out of this world! Literally! (Heatworld Article)

So, this could be found on Heatworlds site today. It all happens tomorrow at 5.30pm norwegian time I think! (4.30pm english time). Make sure you see it!

We literally can't think of anything much more impressive than having your very own song played in actual space, but that's exactly what the lovely McFly boys have managed to do – with a little help from their fans. What started as one little Tweet on Twitter generated enough demand for NASA to take notice, and tomorrow morning (11.30am EDT) McFly's hit Star Girl will be played on the international space station currently orbiting the earth. Amazing, no?! Tom Fletcher from McFly is a huge fan of all-things intergalatic, so he especially is thrilled, calling it "stellar news". Very clever Tom, very clever. The song will be played to the astronauts aboard the space station and is all part of a NASA "Tweetup", where 35 people will get to talk to the astronauts via Twitter. NASA TV and website will be giving live coverage of the event including showing the full-length video of McFly’s Star Girl. We're so thrilled for them! In fact, you could say it's out of this world... To find out more, go to NASA at www.nasa.gov/home/

PS. We've just noticed that Danny is floating in this picture! Brilliant!

Danny and Pixie NOT together (+ a pic of the two together)

Flecking Records found out about the whole celeb hook-up and they found themselves an ACTUAL picture of the two (Danny and Pixie) together at a party with some friends.

BUT! Danny McFly is NOT dating Pixie Lott after all. Phew...

Link: http://www.heatworld.com/Article/12611/

Thousands of McFly-fan hearts were breaking all over the world yesterday, when it was reported that the only remaining single member of the band Danny Jones had started dating the lovely Miss Pixie Lott. Naturally, we didn't waste any time getting in touch with Danny to find out exactly what was going on, and we can now assure you that there is NO romance between the pretty pair after all. Danny's spokesman just told us, "Pixie and Danny did meet up once with mutual friends a few weeks ago, but there is no romance at this stage." So, there you go, Danny and his very sexy lips are still on the market. For now, anyway...

Regarding the rumour on Danny and Pixie

Seeing as this is written in a gossip magazine and are still just a rumour, you shouldnt believe (all of) it. We cant be too sure of this before any of those two confirms anything. And if it is true, then we should all be happy for them, so please dont go all hating on Pixie. Admit it; they would be a pretty cute couple!

Now that that's been said, @McLaurax said on twitter that Pixie confirmed she wasn't dating Danny, so thats what we gotta believe for now.

Danny secretly dating Pixie Lott?

I'M liking this news a Lott . . . pop princess PIXIE and McFLY star DANNY JONES have been secretly dating.

Cheeky lead singer Danny texted gorgeous Pixie to see if she fancied going clubbing and sparks soon began to fly.

Last night a pal of his told me: "Danny has fancied Pixie for ages and when she was touring with the Saturdays, he asked his bandmate Dougie to put in a good word."

DOUGIE POYNTER, 21, is currently dating Saturdays singer FRANKIE SANDFORD - and when Pix heard that Danny, 23, was interested she jumped at the chance to meet him.

A friend of the Mama Do singer revealed: "Pixie is very particular when it comes to guys and she hasn't really had a proper boyfriend before. She's always very career focused.

"But now her career is on the right track she is determined to find herself a nice guy.

"She really likes Danny and she thinks they have chemistry."

But Pixie, 18, has been warned to watch herself around ladies man Danny, who this year dated and then dumped Miss England LAURA COLEMAN.

But one of Pixie's mates said: "She is no idiot and can spot a womaniser a mile off. But Danny isn't like that. He is very honest and she thinks they could be really good together.

"It is still very early days for them. But at the moment the signs are very good. They have been texting each other a lot."

Pixie, who won the MTV Europe Award for best new act from the UK and Ireland, recently told me about the kind of guy she wanted to date.

She said: "I'm always on the hunt for a man. It kind of depends on that first impression.

"But looks-wise I kind of just like the messy kind of hair and someone who dresses nice as well." Messy hair? Snappy dresser? Now that does sound familiar.

Another of Pixie's pals agreed: "Danny is definitely the kind of guy she usually goes for. She really loves musicians and creative guys who just want to have a good time all the time."

Pixie has had two No 1s since appearing on the scene - Mama Do and follow-up Boys And Girls. Her debut album, Turn It Up, reached No 6.

The pal added: "Pixie has everything - fame, fortune and stunning good looks - but now she really wants a nice boyfriend.

"She loves to party but now she's looking for love."

Mission McFly's secret project revealed (possible spoiler about the new album)

Earlier today mission:mcfly revealed their secret project, which was a radio show to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. Congrats! Danny (and Harry) on Fight For Life (Golf Charity)

Once again our patron, Gary Lineker hosted his celebrity golf day in aid of Fight for Life and sponsored by Walkers Snackfoods, now in its 13th year. This year it was held at the beautiful Grove in Chandlers Cross Hertfordshire.

The sun shone, and the golfers were treated to the first class service for which the Grove is renowned. Each team had their own buggies, the use of ‘E-Score’ a fantastic electronic scoring system and were offered continual refreshments courtesy of Walkers.

After five wonderful hours of golf the players and their guests were invited to the Amber suite for a champagne reception followed by a superb dinner in the ballroom. The atmosphere was electric as the wonderfully funny Bobby Davro hosted the auction and followed with some superb entertainment. Mcfly’s Danny Jones rocked the house as he took to the microphone with an impromptu performance of ‘Mustang Sally’ and Brendan Cole danced his fiancé Zoe across the floor …… Oh what a night.!!!!!

Gary Lineker finished the evening with the prize presentations (winners were Bryan Benson’s team), a thankyou to all involved for their wonderful generosity and all the supporters raised their glasses to 2010.

Tom interview with McFly Spain

McFly Spain was so lucky to get an interview with Tom, and talked about the Europe Tour, the new album and Tom's big "secret projects".

Last September you had your first tour of McFly in Europe…which new experiences has the European tour made you feel?
It was a really great tour and was amazing to finally play some shows for our European fans. We’re sorry it’s taken us so long to get over there but we’ll be back soon.

We’ve listened that this last tour was very succesful…Did you expect the answer of European fans as good as it was?
Everyone was really surprised by the reaction of the fans. It was exciting for us to play in front of a new crowd. It was definitely one of my favourite tours we’ve ever done.

Which was the song you enjoyed most playing live?
I like playing every single one of our songs live but If i had to choose my faves i’d pick One for the Radio, Lies and 5 colours.

Have you ever imagined you could have fans all around the world? How do you feel about it?
We’ve always said that ultimately we’d like to be the biggest band in the world. We are very ambitious! Because of the internet we get to talk to and hear from a lot of fans from all around the world but it was really amazing to get out there and see them all .

The fans over Europe have been so excited about your European tour and we’re sure that you had fun… What is the craziest and funniest thing that has happened to you during your European tour?
I walked into my hotel room window and knocked myself out for about 10 minutes. WHen I came round I’d completely forgotten what had happened!

When Dougie was ill in Cologne you played some acoustic songs like Not alone and Too close for comfort. But then, when Dougie felt better you’d continued playing those songs. Have your ever thought about make an acoustic tour? Because I think it’s a great idea and… We want to hear them live, too!
Maybe me and Danny should do a tour without the other 2! Ha, just kidding. We really enjoyed playing those old songs, I think we’ll chenge the set list up a bit next time.

Let’s ask about your visit to our country…
What your feelings were 5 minutes before the first show in Spain? What did you feel on stage on your first concert of your European tour?
For some reason I wasn’t nervous at all. We hadn’t played a gig in a little while so It was a real buzz getting out on stage and the crowd was so amazing that I got so overwhelmed and almost couldn’t sing One For The Radio…had a lump in my throat! Was a kick ass show!

Have you noticed any difference between the Spanish and the English audience?
I think the differences are mainly because that was the first time we’ve ever played in spain so there was a real energy. In England there’s a sense of familiarity and that the crowd sort of know what to expect.

Your visit to our country was very short and we’re sure you didn’t have much time to see Madrid or Barcelona (as the other European cities). Was there anything you would have liked to do, see or try, but couldn’t because of the lack of time?
We never get a chance to see much of anywhere we go. There’s so much we’d like to experience, maybe the fans can recommend some places for our next visit.

Let’s talk about your music, new album and the band… Which kind of music would you like to experiment with?
You’ll have to wait and see. We’re trying out some new things for our next album.

Which differences are going to be between the new album and the last one, Radio:Active?
It’s very different I think. We’ve never really tried to move our music on and push boundaries before but we’re really trying to do that this time. But it’s felt very effortless so far. We all knew we wanted to experiment and try taking the next album in a new direction. I think it’s really important for bands to constantly try to take things to new places. I think the fans are going to love what we’re writing at the moment.

Spanish fans want to know some curiosities…
What’s the meaning of “fun” for you?
Being in a band! It’s the most fun thing you can do with your pants on.

How do you feel when people talk to you as if they’d known you their whole lives?
It’s a little weird…but we’ve had over 6 years of practice. We’re all nice guys and when we meet fans we know they’ll probably be a little nervous so we try to make it a cool experience for them.

Did you enjoy the Spanish presents? (Fanbook and T-shirts)
LOVED them! We got some awesome presents on the last tour.

Finally, the staff wants to ask you something; it’s our fifth anniversary, so be good with us and try to give us as many details as you can! You’ve announced a change in your website, a new documentary… Is it linked to your secret projects? And if the answer is “yes”: Can you tell us something about them, please?
Nope, my lips are sealed. All I can say is that McFLY fans are going to have an amazing year next year. We’re planning things that have never been done before and it’s going to make the McFLY experience a million times more exciting for our fans all over the world.

That’s all! Thanks for your time and your patience and, of course, for coming to our country. We hope to see you again really soon.
Thanks, I hope these answers are ok, see you soon. x Tom

McFly didn't win at Los Premios

According to @mcfly_united McFly didn't win at Los Premios. They were nominated for the best international act. This award was grabbed by Lady GaGa, and considering she's more famous and well known than they are around the world, it wasnt really a shock. Although, I would say McFly would've deserved it, but congrats to Lady GaGa for winning.

Star Girl in space!

Yes, I know I'm late, very late. But thought this deserved a mention on this site either way!

Most of you guys have already heard about this days ago, but NASA tweeted that McFly's song Star Girl will be played in space! (Their tweet: Star Girl by McFly to be played in space! The station crew will hear the song during the Oct. 21 ISS Tweetup. http://tinyurl.com/ya7m2f7 )

Later on, #stargirlinspace even made it to trending topics.

The tweetup will be broadcast live on NASA TV and internet. Also, according to @bnjacobs, the song will be play shortly after 10 a.m. EDT and the video will play at the end of the event, which will be no later than noon. Later, the tweetup video will be posted on NASA Youtube Channel.

This is so awesome! Finally Tom's dreams are coming true! Well, another one ^^ We are so pleased to call us McFly fans and are very proud of the guys!

April meets the McFly boys

Remember Tom's tweet about having dinner with a fan? Well, this is the lucky girl, April, and an article about her day with McFly. She got her wish come true thanks to Make-A-Wish foundation.

April came all the way from the USA to meet her favourite band – and they didn’t disappoint!

“The best night of my life - absolutely nothing can top it. McFly are the nicest people ever!”

That was 17 year old April’s verdict after Make-A-Wish arranged for her to spend some time with the four lads who together make up the hugely popular band McFly: Tom, Danny, Dougie and Harry.

It’s a good thing that the wish was a huge success – April, who lives with renal failure, had flown over from Connecticut with her Mum and Dad especially for her to meet the band!

The big day started well when April found everyone staring at her as she got into the stretch limousine which picked up the family from their hotel. Loving the attention, she was so excited that she couldn’t eat as they travelled to lead singer Tom’s house in London, where April and the whole band enjoyed a chat. April was a little quiet at first, but she soon got into her stride and remembered all the questions she’d been planning to ask for weeks.

Before she knew it, an hour had whizzed past and it was time for everyone to head for a restaurant to share one of the most memorable meals of April’s life!

All the boys in the band were very friendly and patient and happily posed for pictures, before all signing the restaurant menu for April to treasure forever.

Last word goes to the band – they don’t need to worry; this was a day April will never forget:

“We had a really special time with April and her family - it's amazing she came all the way from the USA just to see her favourite band. We hope we made it worthwhile.

All our love, McFly .”

McFly Magazine

So McFly Magazine is a fan-made monthly magazine that you could get by purchasing it at eBay. Unfortunately it’s not available for us Norwegians yet, but I will try to get in touch with them to get more info about this. For now they only send the magazine to chosen countries (you can find these at their MySpace site).

McFly Magazine was started in October 2006 by Laura Reynolds. Laura attended McFly's Motion In The Ocean album launch taking the first issue of the magazine with her. Showing the magazine to both McFly and McFly's management she got approval to make and distribute the magazine. In November 2006 the first issue was sent to over 200 McFly fans worldwide. Since then the magazine has continued to be published and copies are also still sent to McFly regularly. The magazine comes out monthly and is full of the latest McFly news, McFly puzzles, posters, reviews and competitions.

If you would like to order a copy of McFly Magazine then visit their eBay page below. Postage to countries outside the UK will vary.

For prices you need to message them. Mails are on their sites.

McFly Calendar 2010

Obviously there isn’t gonna be an official McFly calendar for 2010, according to the official McFly forum’s Mod Squad. If you have pre-ordered one make sure you get a refund. This really sucks, its kinda a tradition now, getting a new one each year, and it’s gonna be very strange not having that calendar. I don’t really know the reason why they’re not having one this year. It’ll be the first year they’re not having one, since they first found fame.

Since McFly’s not having an official calendar this year McFlyNews have made this competition where fans can make suggestions to how the calendar may look, and send them in. The main reason with this is making a fan-made McFly calendar for the fans to print out.

McFly in Black Magazine

McFly: “The spanish girls are beautiful”

This english guys aren’t embarrased so, we went to the interview very nervous… were they going to make fun of us? They did, but we had so much fun…

Hi, what’s up? It was finally time to come here… wasn’t it?
We felt like coming here to visit our fans… we’re so exicted!

If you felt like… why haven’t you come before?
Hahaha, it’s about time! But we’ve finally arrived and we’re happy. Weather is awesome, food is good and the girls…

Let me see guys, what’s going up with the spanish women?
They’re beautiful!! Yesterday we’ve got some drinks and we’re shocked about the girls… They’re so beautiful, happy and have good legs, hahaha!

And, not talking about girls… what was the thing you like the most from our country?
Places close very late! We left yesterday night, and today we’ve woken up at 13:00 and we could have breakfast! That’s awesome, we couldn’t do that in England…

And about Spanish music, what can you tell us?
We know Enrique Iglesias, we think that he is a friendly guy, we also know Gipsy Kings, and Ricky Martin.

But the Gipsy Kings are Portuguese and Ricky Martin is from Puerto Rico!!
Really?Well, it doesn’t matter, Ricky Martin goes like he is Spanish!

Hahaha, what did you prepare for your concerts in Spain?
Nothing!

Sorry? Haven’t you thought about put your clothes off?
Hahaha, if is hot, it will be possible! We like to think about what we’ll do while we’re playing! We’ve been on tour in Great Britain and we just want to show the european fans what they had lost!

Talking about showing, if we go to your backstage, what would it surprise us?
There’s no so much. We have a table full of food, a fridge with drinks…

We know you, sure when you have finished, you will get crazy on a party, am i wrong?
Yes you are, this time the party is on bus. We wanted to buy a discotec ball, lights, a karaoke and get drunk while we sing Abba’s, Aqua’s or Beegees’ songs.

Now we’re friends and we have trust, please tell us about your fifth album!
It’s going to be a “NO”! haha

Heeeei!
Just kidding, We’ve recorded some tracks, we’re recording more and, when we’ll finish, record another one. Exicting, isn’t it?

We’ll have it at…
the beginning of next year!

Harry interview by Moneywise

Moneywise interviews drummer Harry Judd, from band McFly, to find out how savvy the musician is with his cash.

Drummer Harry Judd is a member of the band McFly. The band released their first single, 'Five Colours in Her Hair', just over three years ago. It shot to number one, and was followed by six more chart-toppers. The band's first two albums also went to number one, and they've made it into The Guinness Book of Records as the youngest band to top the charts with a debut album.Mcfly are currently working on their new album and are about to go on a European tour. The band are also supporting Santander's Celebrity Master Class for 16–21 year olds who want to break into the music industry.

My spending weakness?
I won't spend anything for a while and then I'll have a burst of buying things. I've got my own place, so I like to get furniture and things to do it up.

The most I've spent on a single item...
Aside from a flat and holidays, it was probably a car – a BMW. But I drove it through some deep puddles and the water damaged the engine, so I don't have it any more.

My first job and pay packet...
I went straight from school into McFly, so the band is my first job, apart from temporary work for a company called Simply Salmon. It was a factory job, packing the orders, but it only lasted a week and I can't remember how much I was paid.

Do I own my own home?
Yes. I bought a flat about three years ago, probably not at the best time though!

Credit cards: friend or foe?
I just stick with my debit cards. I think credit cards can be a danger once you start spending on them, although obviously it depends on your situation. With debit cards, you know what you're spending – I think if I had a credit card, I'd forget what I'd spent and get into trouble.

My attitude to money...
It can be stressful managing your money. It sounds corny, but I just want to be happy, so I try not to worry too much. I'm in the fortunate position of earning a decent amount at a young age, so I try to be responsible.

Best financial lesson I've learnt...
My dad has always been really good at teaching me about money. He taught me to enjoy myself, but to feel sure that I'm in control of my finances too.

Do I organise my own finances?
As I said, my dad helps by advising me quite a bit. I like being able to ask him what he thinks, but I've always been fairly good with my money.

How I'm feeling the credit crunch...
Fortunately, I haven't felt much of a difference. I still allow myself the usual things like food and clothes but it's just about being sensible.

Stocks and shares or cash?
I've been pretty disciplined with savings accounts and individual savings accounts, and my dad is quite keen for me get into stocks and shares, so that will be next. I've already got a pension, though there's not that much in it at the moment.

McFly on Children’s Trust Poetry Book Project

To celebrate The Children Trust’s 25th anniversary, a children poetry book has been launched to raise money. So, what’s the difference between this anthology book with others?

Apparently every poetry that included in that book, The Walrus and the Carpenter, was hand-picked by celebrities, like Paul O’Grady, Jacqueline Wilson, and of course McFLY.

You can buy this book online here. The price is £4.99 – with £4.50 from each book going directly to the charity.

McFly in Bravo

McFly is in the latest issue of Bravo, a german magazine. It’s a small characteristics about the boys. The small article on the site also says, that the boys will return to Europe for a bigger tour in spring. The picture was taken backstage in Cologne.

Translation of the small text in the last pic:
"Before each show the rockers of McFly need to go to the psychotherapist! Because of Dougie and Tom rocking too hard on stage their articular is really busted. And without a massage they’d soon be a case for the wheelchair. *Shock* "

Pics from G-A-Y

Yes, it's Dougie and Frankie again. Pictures of them together after (?) The Saturdays performance on G-A-Y.

Short mention of Dougie in Frankie interview

A little note of an interview did by Dare Magazine with Frankie Standford, Dougie’s girlfriend, where she talks about how it is to live with him:

What’s it like dating someone who’s also in a band?
It’s lovely when we do events together, like this summer’s V Festival. We both watched each other perform and got to hang out afterwards. It is hard spending time apart when we are touring, but we also live together now so we spend lots of time together in the evenings.

Out of you and Dougie, who takes longer
to get ready for a night out?
I can’t lie – I take longer to get ready although he takes ages in the shower!
